  • Good thing yer mom is down with podcasting.

Geoff and Devin were a little over the top and their levels were a bit off, and their segment was a little long and too undisciplined. The concept was good, and they are entertaining--just need to keep it more terse.

On Target Mindy, we need a more complete description of her. Height, weight, complexion, shape, hair-eye color. A surreptitious pic would be good, and if you could do a mini-interview with her, that would be nice, too.

  • I would normally hold off sending a comment until I had finished listeneing to the show, but "Ask Lyndon" has me doubled over with laughter. This is both painful and difficult to keep going while wearing earbuds. Thanks Lyndon.

  • I agree with Shelly, ask Lyndon was great. I also loved the Geoff and Devin thing, nicely done. (I didn't notice any problem with the levels) However, if it made by Labatts, it is CRAP. Mass produced Canadian beer sucks big time.

  • Thanks Lyndon for clearing everything up for me!

I'm with Daryl on the mass produced Canadian beer. In cambridge, Ontario, everyone always drank Canadian. Blah! Mmm. I could go for some Grass Hopper though. I do like that stuff. Isn't that a Calgary beer?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:10 PM

  • dismay,

You are correct, Grasshopper is made by Big Rock, located in Calgary. They have a pretty nice stable of beers imo.

  • I took a train across Canada once: started in Toronto. We had Labatt's and Molson to drink. (Aside: the Molson in Canada seemed crappier than the Molson in the US.) Anyway, the train took on new supplies in Edmonton, including new beer. I can't for the life of me remember what the western beer was, but it was one I had never had before, and a great improvement over the Toronto beer.

  • Hey guys.
I just needed to let Karen know that Jon's nickname is "Princess Pretty Girl" not "Princess Pretty Boy". He was dressed in drag when he got the nickname.
We love the podcast... and I'm glad we made your day!

  • Geoff and Devon: Etherdog is a tad pedantic, but he's a big sweetie and a loyal podcast listener.

To All the Beer Comments: Alas, call the Minister of Canadian Culture and report me, I DON'T DRINK BEER...

Ally and Jon: I remember Jon's name is Princess Pretty Girl, but vodka and age addled my brain while recording.

  • Karen,

If I can get away with not liking hockey (they haven't kicked me out of Canda yet!), you can get away with not drinking beer.

I make up for my lack of hockey love by loving curling, you make up for your lack of beer drinking by spreading the joy of Caesars.
